March For Life 2013
About 8 Seats Still Available!!!

Thank you for allowing your student to attend the 40th annual March for Life this year. For those who have not attended before, this event is a life-changing and amazing faith-filled experience for all who participate. The march involves over 200,000 Catholic followers who are fighting for one cause – to overturn Roe v Wade and make abortion illegal.

Our group will be experiencing more than just the march; we have the opportunity to attend the Youth Rally and Mass for Life at the Verizon Center. The rally will consist of Christian music, praying of a rosary and conclude with the Mass for life. Concluding the rally, we will proceed to Constitution Avenue, (practically right outside of the Verizon Center) where the march begins. We will join the March from there to the Supreme Court building on Capitol Hill. From there, we will get back on the bus and head home with a stop for dinner in Frederick, Maryland at the Golden Corral. If you have any allergy concerns with the Golden Corral, please let me know. There are a few other restaurants in the near vicinity, but we'd rather keep it limited to just a few kids where needed. (Otherwise it ends up delaying our return time by quite a bit)

We are asking that parents have their son/daughter at OLV no later than 12:30am. The bus will depart at 1am SHARP, We will have the Activity Center open from 11:00pm onward for anyone who would like to drop off early, as we know it can be a strain to some of you with little ones. When you arrive, please make arrangements for people to be dropped off. We can leave a few cars parked at OLV for the day, but we'd prefer to keep it to a minimum where possible.

We will stop for a fast food lunch en route to Washington (probably McDonalds). We plan to arrive in Washington around 6:00am to be able to enter the Verizon Center just as things open at 7:00am. (we'll have to be lined up at the doors early to get decent seats.)

If you would like to see your son/daughter on TV, I have not yet gotten all the information, but the last year the Rally was be broadcast on and I suspect this year it will also be available there.

Please keep us and the lawmakers in Washington in your prayers on Monday that one day we might be able to put an end to this terrible loss of human life Minister
