Good Afternoon Everyone!

It seemed like everyone really enjoyed the Proto-Evangelium last week, and I think it went very well.  As we look at the next few weeks, the March for Life will be upon us before we know it.  At this time, I still have TWO seats available on the bus.  Whoever claims them first can have them.  I also received our tickets today, so for those of you going, the final itinerary and trip information should be coming out very soon.

With all that in mind, Let me remind everyone that we WILL NOT MEET FRIDAY JAN 20TH - as that's the Matt Maher Concert.  PLEASE consider going to the concert.  Tickets are $13-$18.  We will NOT be buying group tickets, but I'd suggest asking others if they're going and checking with each other for rides. (I know you guys are pretty good at that).  He's an incredible musician, and it should be a great experience.   Please, if you can spread the word about it, the concert is open to the public, and there are quite a few tickets left available!!!  Tickets are NOT available at the door.

Since the Pro-Life March is coming up, and we won't meet next week on the 20th, This week will be our annual Pro-Life talk.  We've done a number of different things in the past.  This year, I'm going to try to find a few good testimonial talks that we'll watch.  (Don't worry, under no circumstances will we be watching the bloody, graphic-type videos)  At the same time, please understand that this IS a serious topic, and some of the accounts may include descriptions by the woman, or the doctor, of what happens.  I do think, though, it's important for young people to know what things are really like, and some hopefully some thoughts on what good things can be done and suggested if they find someone they know in a crisis pregnancy.  If you're aware of other materials, resources, ideas, please feel free to bring them along, but I do ask that you let me know so that I can be aware and pre-screen anything.

As another final point.  I see that some parents have logged in to check on times to help.  We are set for the 14th, and the 27th.  However, I have no one yet signed up for any dates after that.  Again, if at all possible, parents/adults, PLEASE try to sign up for at least 1, preferably 2 spots.  Click here to sign up, http://www.volunteerspot.com/login/entry/37234563193763802

See you Friday!
