Would you would like to experience the opportunity of a lifetime?  The National Catholic Youth Conference is being held November 17-19, 2011 in Indianapolis, IN.  The theme is "Called to Glory,".  NCYC will give you the opportunity to spend 3 days with teenagers from all over the United States.  Usually there are 23,000 youth attend NCYC.   Can you imagine spending time in your comfort zone talking to your peers about Jesus for 3 days?  Can you  imagine attending mass & Eucharistic Adoration with 23,000 teenagers?  Can you imagine hanging out, listening to awesome Christian music and speakers who will share their faith life with you?  If you can just imagine how awesome this all will be in Indianapolis at the Lucas Oil Stadium in November I know YOU will want to attend this conference.

Our Lady of Victory now has the opportunity to send two high school students to the conference at no cost to the students.  To be eligible, students must be in either 10th or 11th grade.  The only money you need is for meals and some souvenirs. Students who do attend will be asked to come home and participate in leadership activities here at OLV.   If you would like to participate in this once in a lifetime opportunity to not only deepen your faith but to also enhance your love of Jesus Christ please email Fr. Matthew Baum at mattb@ourladyofvictory.com by September 8th. We will have a drawing on Sept 9th to select the students who will attend and represent our parish.

The students chosen will join about 40-50 other students from various other parishes around our diocese in a group led by Francine Swope, our diocesan director of Youth Ministry and Sacramental Prep.  Eva Corsaro, and Fr. Matt Baum from our parish will also be with the group.
